Thanks for visiting! I’m Matthew Cavanaugh, a wedding photographer based in Western Massachusetts. I spent years in photojournalism, including six as a member of the White House Press Corps in DC. Back then I shot a few weddings for friends and approached them just like I would a journalism assignment. I quickly realized that my skill set was actually a great fit for weddings and I’ve been lucky enough to photograph more than two hundred weddings since then. It’s the best job.
